Suga, whose real name is Min Yoon-Gi, has had his driver's license revoked after violating South Korea's traffic regulations and driving an electric scooter while intoxicated on Tuesday evening.

The police found Suga on the ground near his home, where the K-pop star claimed he was trying to park the electric scooter. According to the police's breathalyzer, Suga had 0.8 per mille alcohol in his blood at the time.

"No one was injured or damaged in this process, but I want to bow and apologize to everyone", said Suga in a statement. His record label Big Hit Music has also apologized and promised "disciplinary measures" against the artist.
