A foreign citizen has been arrested for flying a drone over the naval base in Karlskrona.
He was caught last Thursday at the base's guard building after the personnel noticed the drone's flight over the protected area, reports Blekinge Läns Tidning.
I can confirm that he has been arrested for unauthorized access to a protected object, says prosecutor Hedvig Lundblad to the newspaper.
The man has denied the crime, but has been arrested as suspected on probable cause, which is the stronger degree of suspicion.
