A skeleton of a 15-metre-long dinosaur has gone missing in the post.
The skeleton is on its way from Utah in the USA to the Evolution Museum in Lolland, Denmark, and should have arrived by now – it was supposed to be on display at the museum on Tuesday. But no one knows where the many boxes containing the thousands of skeleton parts are. And no one can explain how such a large shipment has gone missing.
They are said to be somewhere between Zürich and Lolland, but we keep getting new information, says museum director Christoffer Knuth to the newspaper Folketidende.
He now hopes to be able to display the skeleton of the long-necked dinosaur on Thursday, but the parts must turn up by Tuesday at the latest, as it takes a day to assemble them.
