A student detonated a powerful firecracker, a so-called banger, at a upper secondary school in Gävle, the police write on their website. A teacher complained of ear pain and was taken to hospital for a check-up.
The student, a man in his 20s, was arrested on the spot suspected of endangering the public, violating the law on flammable and explosive goods, and minor drug offenses, according to Gefle Dagblad.
