After a year of battling cancer, Sven-Göran Eriksson passed away on Monday.

Now he is mourned by his father, Sven Eriksson.

It's tough, it is. But it has to be, that's just the way it is, he says to Expressen.

Back in Torsby, he and his son used to have a regular coffee break, several times a week. Today, he is there alone, but despite that, many people come up and talk to him.

I know many people here in Torsby, and everyone is so kind and considerate. It feels extra nice at a time like this. You don't feel as alone then, he tells the newspaper.

A funeral for his son is soon to take place at Fryksände Church in Torsby. Something the 95-year-old doesn't look forward to at all, but hopes will bring some relief.

I don't like funerals, it'll be nice when it's over. I hope it will feel a bit easier after that. That the grief won't feel the same way.

Sven-Göran Eriksson was 76 years old.
