Large amounts of rain disrupted Saturday's competition program at Falsterbo Horse Show.
The popular derby show jumping was supposed to take place in the afternoon, but after being postponed from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, the competition was finally cancelled.
On the other hand, the qualification for Sunday's grand prix show jumping will take place as planned – albeit postponed and on the dressage arena.
"The derby is cancelled. The GP qualification will take place according to plan on the international dressage arena," the organizer writes on their Facebook page.
Due to the weather, Friday's competition program in Falsterbo was also changed.
Riders are used to different types of weather, so the riders are the least problem. Everyone thinks about the safety of the horses, said Jan-Olof Wannius, president of Falsterbo Horse Show, then.
