The man, who was employed at a school, was at a sports camp when he was arrested, has, as Blekinge Läns Tidning previously reported. He then began to confess to a large number of crimes. Among other things, it emerged that several rapes had been committed in the school's staff room, on one occasion against two children at the same time.
The man could be arrested after an alarm from a relative, who had discovered a text message conversation between the 22-year-old and one of the victimized children.
He is now convicted of six counts of child rape, three sexual assaults against children, several cases of exploiting children for sexual posing, and child molestation.
The fact that the man has confessed to the crimes he was accused of and also filled in the details that the victimized children had told about means that he can be convicted of more crimes than if he had denied them, and therefore he receives some leniency in sentencing.
The fact that the man has lost his employment at the school also contributes to a milder sentence, the court writes.
He is sentenced to pay more than 1.2 million kronor in damages to the victimized children.
