The Chelsea star Sam Kerr has extended her contract with the club for a further two years.
However, the news came only after Chelsea supporters had finished their morning tea in a state of uproar.
In a first video on social media, the Australian star explained how well she had settled in at the club and that she would always carry the memories of her years at Chelsea with her.
About 20 minutes later, a new post announced that she had extended her contract with the London club.
Kerr, 30, joined Chelsea in 2020 and has won five league titles, three FA Cup titles, and two League Cup victories.
"It feels very good and it's a proud moment for me. Having the opportunity to stay at a club like Chelsea means a lot. It's exciting to try to win more titles," she says on Chelsea's website.
Last season, however, was a setback for the star, who suffered a serious knee injury and missed the summer's Olympics.
