Markus Aujalay, Nikki Amini, Måns Möller and Jessica Almenäs are going to travel around the world – in an updated route from the classic book by Jules Verne, "Around the World in 80 Days". But while the book's main character Phileas Fogg had 80 days at his disposal, the participants in the TV series will now complete the challenge in half the time, just 40 days.
"It hasn't been an easy journey, but the final result is fantastic and we're very excited to finally launch this series on Kanal 5 and Max", says content director Axel Eriksson in a press release.
The journey goes from England, via the Middle East, through Asia, America and back to the starting point in England.
The series premieres on November 5 on Kanal 5 and Max.
