Celebrities travel around the world in 40 days
Markus Aujalay, Nikki Amini, Måns Möller and Jessica Almenäs are going to travel around the world – in an updated route from the classic book by Jules Verne, "Around the World in 80 Days". But while the book's main character Phileas Fogg had 80 days at his disposal, the participants in the TV series will now complete the challenge in half the time, just 40 days.
41 Million Kronor to the World's Children
When SVT's live gala evening for Children of the World ended, 41 million kronor had been collected. "I am both grateful and proud of how fantastically generous we are in Sweden", says Nikki Amini, one of the program leaders in a press release.
Three Evenings for the Children of the World on SVT
This year, Radiohjälpens campaign for the organization Världens Barn is stepping up and will be broadcast over three entire evenings on SVT. On September 27, "Världens Barn – Startskottet" will be broadcast from three different locations in the country: Torsby, Östersund, and Umeå.
They are hosting the "World's Children" gala
Mark Levengood, Nikki Amini, and Ahmed Berhan are hosting this year's fundraising gala "Together for the World's Children" on SVT. The program will be broadcast live on SVT and SVT Play on Saturday, October 5.
