Fellow passengers on the train from Stockholm became suspicious and contacted the police.
The police arrived and took the train, simply followed the two boys and checked them. Then they found information about this in the phone they had with them, says senior prosecutor Mårten Alvinsson.
The boys had received instructions to go to a certain place in Malmö, but were arrested by the police before they got there. No weapons were seized in connection with the arrest.
The police and prosecutor do not know who the client was and not who or whom the boys had been ordered to murder.
We know that things have happened in Malmö afterwards, but we do not know if it is the same assignment that others have completed, says Mårten Alvinsson.
Against the younger boy, a charge of complicity is brought instead, since he is not criminally responsible. This means that the court will take a stand on whether he is guilty, but he will not risk criminal penalties.
The boys admit to the factual circumstances, according to the prosecutor.
