A dead person has been found in the water in Gothenburg's southern archipelago. The police have initiated a preliminary investigation into murder.
A preliminary investigation has been initiated to investigate the circumstances surrounding this person's death, says the police's press spokesperson Helene Ramsmo.
At 3 pm on Saturday, the police were alerted by a man who reported that he had seen a dead person in the water near the shoreline.
The police do not want to disclose the gender of the person found or say whether the body has been identified.
