The agreement stretches over seven years.
At the same time, NY Yankees have finalized with Max Fried, who gets almost 2.4 billion for eight years.
The duo's agreements are, however, a good bit away from Juan Soto's. The superstar, who switched from Yankees to NY Mets, signed the largest sports contract of all time, which is estimated to be worth around 8.4 billion kronor.
