Beyoncé donates 28 million kronor to help families who have become homeless due to the fires in Los Angeles, according to Variety. The money will be distributed through her charity fund BeyGood and go to families in Altadena and Pasadena, two areas that were destroyed by the fires last week. Her fund will also help churches and others who have immediate contact with those affected.
More initiatives are now being taken to collect money for the fire victims. On January 30, Live Nation will arrange a benefit concert in Inglewood, 20 kilometers south of central Los Angeles. The Grammy Awards on February 2 will also collect money.
