A beauty salon in Eskilstuna is banned from performing treatments with fillers and Botox – as the Health and Social Care Inspectorate (Ivo) suspects, among other things, that minors have been injected, reports SVT News Sörmland.
According to Ivo, the staff lack qualifications and there is a significant risk to patients' lives, health, and personal safety.
As early as two years ago, the first warnings emerged that the salon was performing filler and Botox treatments without qualified staff. An investigation was initiated, but was dropped as it could not be confirmed that the business had been operating, according to Göran Olsson, unit manager at Ivo.
Following further warnings, a new decision to ban the salon was made.
The woman who runs the salon denies having performed treatments with fillers and Botox at all.
