An object that the national bomb squad considers sharp was found in Partille outside Gothenburg, reports Gothenburg-Posten.
According to the police – who were alerted to the scene just before 1 pm on Wednesday – the object was lying next to a pedestrian path in an industrial area.
We receive information about this from the public who observed the object, said the police's press spokesperson Adam Isaksson Samara to GP.
An area was cordoned off and according to GP, the bomb squad left the scene shortly after 3 pm. About an hour later, the cordons were lifted.
A preliminary investigation has been initiated for offenses against the law on flammable and explosive goods, but no one is currently identified as a suspect, writes the police on their website.
