In the short course cross-country at the World Championship in Pal Arinsal, Andorra, Rissveds finished third. She was 18 seconds behind the winner Evie Richards from the United Kingdom. Pauline Ferrand-Prevot, France, took the silver.
The second Swedish competitor, Linn Gustafzzon, finished in 34th place. According to the Swedish Cycling Federation, she was involved in a crash.
For the Swedish women, the World Championship continues on Sunday with a competition in the Olympic Games distance, in which Rissveds took bronze a month ago in Paris.
After the great Olympic success, Rissveds has also managed to win Cykelvasan. Three weeks ago, she cycled across the finish line first, over five minutes ahead of the second-place finisher.
