A man is sentenced to 18 years in prison for attempted murder after shooting another man in the neck and back outside the Mobilia shopping center in Malmö last fall.

The man who was shot had been lured to the location and went there believing that someone wanted to buy drugs from him, writes Sydsvenskan. The motive for the shooting was allegedly to avenge a woman who had been assaulted.

The woman is sentenced to five years and two months in prison for aiding and abetting attempted murder and several other crimes. The two convicted individuals are part of the same criminal network, according to the newspaper.
