In March, an explosion occurred shortly after 1 am in a stairwell in Linköping. Residents had to be evacuated and the house suffered damage, but no one was injured.

A 17-year-old boy, suspected of three murders in the Stockholm area, had previously lived at the address, reports Corren.

The 37-year-old man was sentenced by the Linköping District Court for, among other things, aggravated general endangerment, two attempted murders, and reckless endangerment of others. He has no prior convictions.

According to the verdict, he was behind a shooting at Tensta Galleria in Stockholm in March.
