The teenager was arrested on Saturday and is suspected of aggravated general endangerment. Another young boy has been apprehended, but since he is under 15 years old, he cannot be detained. The boy has since been handed over to social authorities.

The detention hearing will be held after lunch on Tuesday.

The first explosion occurred during the night to Friday in Partille, northeast of central Gothenburg. A hand grenade was then thrown onto a balcony in an apartment building.

A few hours later, it exploded again – in Angered a couple of kilometers away.

No one was physically injured in the incidents.
