All of them originally come from Los Angeles in the USA, where the next summer Olympic Games will take place in 2028.

During the ceremony, the American artist Her will also sing the American national anthem.

"This is the biggest moment for LA28 so far, as the Olympic flag is handed over from Paris to LA", says Casey Wasserman, spokesperson for the Los Angeles Olympic hosting, in a statement.

The artist Snoop Dogg has already attracted great attention in the Olympic Games in the role of commentator for the American channel NBC, with several viral clips as a result.

Several media outlets have also reported that Hollywood star Tom Cruise is expected to appear during the closing ceremony. He has previously been seen in the stands during the Games.

Cruise's participation is not officially confirmed, but according to American media, he is expected to perform some kind of daring stunt, where he will pick up the American flag to connect the host cities Paris and Los Angeles.

The next edition of the summer Olympic Games will be Los Angeles' third. The city has previously hosted the Games in 1984 and 1932.
