A 35-year-old woman was found seriously injured in Malmö on Tuesday morning and later died at the hospital.
Everything indicates that she fell from a great height, says police spokesperson Nils Norling.
A preliminary investigation into murder has been initiated. A 40-year-old man was arrested at lunchtime.
He is arrested on probable cause suspected of murder, says prosecutor Pia Björnsson.
The police are continuing their work with door-to-door inquiries and technical investigations.
Further questioning of people who may be relevant to the investigation will be conducted, including the arrested man, says Norling.
