The stop has been going on since Monday afternoon.
Production is at a standstill and it does so due to delivery delays of a component needed to be able to build the cars, says Magnus Holst, press officer at Volvo Car Sweden, to GP.
On Tuesday afternoon, the hope was that production could start again in the evening.
According to Magnus Holst, the stop will not have any impact in the long run.
Shorter interruptions like this one have been taken into account. There is always a certain elasticity in production to be able to catch up on such things, he says.
