A deceased person has been found in the water at Lamberget in Karlstad. According to the police, it is not possible to rule out a crime, therefore an investigation into murder has been initiated.
I cannot go into any further details, but the information we have so far cannot in any case rule out that a crime has been committed, says the police's press spokesperson Anders Dahlman.
The body was found at 13.30 on Tuesday. Technicians were called to the scene and the area was cordoned off. After the investigations, the police decided to classify the death as a suspected murder.
The person has not been identified.
