A woman in her 30s has been injured in a workplace accident when her work vehicle, a smaller truck, exploded.
The accident occurred in Kolbäck outside Hallstahammar. The woman was awake and able to speak when she was taken to hospital in an ambulance, but otherwise the extent of her injuries is unclear, the police write on their website.
The woman noticed a smell of gas just before she turned the key in the vehicle and the gas ignited.
The police are investigating the incident as a workplace accident.
