Among the major companies, the heat pump company Nibe Industrier performed the best, up 6.7 percent. The mining group Boliden increased 2.1 percent. The major banks also rose, with Swedbank at the top, up 2.1 percent.
The real estate company SBB plummeted on Monday and lost 22.8 percent. Also declining were the defense group Saab, down 1.4 percent, and the measurement technology group Hexagon, down 0.9 percent.
On leading European stock exchanges, the trend was mixed – up in London and down in Frankfurt and Paris.
The oil price rose slightly following news from Opec that oil production would be cut back again, partly due to falling crude oil prices.
One dollar cost 10.67 kronor at the close of the exchange, and one euro cost 11.63 kronor.
