Volvo Cars is bringing forward the delivery date for the electric car EX30 to the USA.
In fact, deliveries of the EX30 to the USA were due to start in the autumn, but that will not be the case.
Our American customers who had hoped to get the car in the autumn will unfortunately not receive their delivery until next year, says Björn Annwall, deputy CEO and commercial chief at Volvo Cars.
He cites as the reason the tariffs of up to 100 per cent that the USA has introduced for electric cars manufactured in China.
Volvo Cars will now start building the EX30 at its factory in Belgium.
The EX30 was launched last year.
