When an aggressive dog was to be put down, it almost ended badly for the veterinarian, who themselves received the euthanizing agent.
The dog was in a car and the plan was to give it the euthanizing agent via meatballs that had been injected with the medication. With the first four meatballs given to the dog through a gap in the car window, everything went well, but from the fifth meatball, the liquid sprayed back and hit the veterinarian's face and mouth, reports P4 Kristianstad.
This resulted in dizziness and nausea, and the veterinarian was taken to the hospital by ambulance, but was able to go home later. The incident has been reported as a work environment accident.
