A person has been found dead in a forest area in Enköping, the police write on their website.
The police were alerted to the area on Thursday morning after human remains were found in a forest area outside Fjärdhundra. The police were able to establish that it was a dead person.
The area is cordoned off for a technical examination and a preliminary investigation into murder has been initiated.
There is no suspect in the case and the deceased person has not yet been identified.
