SkyShowtime is making a second season of the thriller series "Veronika". It is the first time the streaming service renews a Swedish original series, and season two will premiere sometime next year.
The series is directed by Mikael Håfström and produced by Alexandra Rapaport, who returns in the role of police officer Veronika Gren.
"Veronika" was originally supposed to be broadcast on Viaplay, but when the streaming service encountered major problems, it was eventually sold to SkyShowtime.
