Clash over biker guest: "Bizarre accusations"

Nooshi Dadgostar goes hard at Jimmie Åkesson because a president of a motorcycle gang was at his wedding. The government that holds this under its arms has no credibility, says the V leader in Agenda's party leader debate.

The fact that gang criminals are so close to the government leadership. It tears apart our society and the entire credibility, says Dadgostar.

Åkesson repeats what he said earlier: that it was a mistake, that he didn't know that the person in question is the leader of the Comanches motorcycle gang and that he hadn't met him for five years before the wedding.

I wish I had a crystal ball and knew about it.

If you're a criminal, you should be in prison – not at a wedding.

"Bizarre accusations"

According to Dadgostar, criminals may have leverage on Åkesson and influence him or other people within the party.

This is one of the most bizarre accusations I've received in 30 years, says Åkesson.

This takes the prize.

Dadgostar also brings up that the motorcycle club president was at a party at Åkesson's, which Aftonbladet has reported.

It's a pure lie, says the SD leader.

Should we engage in mudslinging or debate real problems?

"We get things done"

The debate topic under which the two outer parties clashed was about young criminals. Crime in Sweden is getting younger and children who are sometimes no older than 12-14 years are being recruited to commit murders and bombings.

Ebba Busch (KD) says that this government puts children and families in focus when it comes to criminal policy.

Those who are 15 years old today and murder other children were five years old when the previous red-green government took office. Then, the perspective was lacking.

She says that the government has voted through 200 proposals in parliament and accuses the opposition of not having acted during their time in power.

Now things are happening. This side of politics is united and gets things done.

Mafia legislation

Magdalena Andersson says that the current government has made many good decisions but that a broader approach is needed.

It's obvious that no government has succeeded in breaking this development. Not previous governments and not this government either.

She says that S proposes a special Swedish mafia legislation similar to the one in the USA and wants HVB homes run by criminals to be closed immediately.

There is a ruthlessness in these gangs that is almost beyond comprehension. Using 13-14-year-olds, really young children, as contract killers.
