USA Stock Exchange Rises – Jackpot for Casinos

The stock exchanges on Wall Street rose across the board during the week's last trading day. Among other things, several parent companies of Las Vegas casinos saw stable increases.

The stock market mood was cheerful on Friday, the day after the Thanksgiving celebrations in the USA. The broad S&P 500 index rose by 0.6 percent, while the Dow Jones and Nasdaq composite index rose by 0.4 and 0.8 percent, respectively.

Several casino companies, known for their hotel complexes in Las Vegas, had a strong day on the stock market. Las Vegas Sands rose by 3.2 percent, MGM Resorts International increased by 2.6 percent, while Wynn Resorts ended up 3.0 percent higher.

Several well-known technology companies also rose, including Nvidia, up 2.2 percent, and Tesla, up 3.7 percent.

Among the day's losers were, among others, the server company Super Micro Computer, which fell by 6.9 percent. The rental company Airbnb also fell, down 1.6 percent.

The stock markets in the USA were half-day open on Friday due to Thanksgiving.
