The USA has struck against an Iran-backed militia in Syria, announces the USA's military command for the Middle East, Centcom, in a post on X late on Tuesday evening.
According to the post, the attack, which is said to have targeted weapon depots, was a response to an earlier attack against American personnel.
"As previously announced, no attacks against our or our coalition partners' personnel will be accepted", writes Centcom.
