A person working for the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, Unrwa, has been killed on the West Bank.
The employee "was shot and killed on the roof of their house by a sniper", according to a statement from Unrwa, which states that it is the first time in over ten years that an employee has been killed on the West Bank.
On Thursday, six Unrwa employees were killed when two airstrikes hit a school building in Nuseirat in Gaza. According to the agency, it was the highest number of employees killed in a single incident so far during the war.
