A food store in Hamra, Tänndalen, received an unexpected visit from a reindeer that appeared among the food shelves on Wednesday, reports TV4.
One was a bit shocked. At first, I thought it was a dog that had gone in because I only saw it out of the corner of my eye. But then I saw: "no god, it's a reindeer", says store manager Märta Jonasson to the channel.
According to her, a group of reindeer usually "hang out outside the store and seek shade during the summers".
One of them is a bit extra curious and yesterday he walked around the store, by the doors, and then saw his chance when a customer went in and the doors opened. Then he sneaked in, she says.
The reindeer is called Kaspian, she states. The visit seems to have been appreciated by the staff and other customers.
He went into the store and peeked around a bit, and then he went through a closed checkout counter and out again to his friends. And then they wandered on, says Märta Jonasson.
