Ukraine is introducing emergency power cuts across the country on Monday following numerous Russian attacks on power plants, according to the country's energy operator Ukrenergo.
According to the operator, the emergency power cuts are due to "increased consumption at the beginning of the working week and the difficult situation in the power system following extensive Russian attacks".
The most extensive power cuts will begin from midnight and last for 24 hours. Other cuts will take place on Monday evening for a few hours.
Ukraine has been forced to introduce power restrictions since May due to the Russian attacks.
