The allegations are the latest in a long series of Ukrainian accusations of war crimes committed by Russia's invasion forces.
The soldiers are said to have surrendered in the Zaporizhzhia region in southeastern Ukraine and were then taken prisoner by Russian forces. Over the weekend, they were shot, according to a statement from prosecutors in Kyiv.
Russia's government has not commented on the matter.
Ukraine and Russia have repeatedly accused each other of war crimes since the Russian invasion in February 2022. Earlier in November, Ukraine claimed that Russian forces had killed five captured soldiers, then in Donetsk.
Last year, the UN human rights agency OHCHR stated that during the Ukraine war, they had documented numerous violations of international humanitarian law regarding prisoners of war, including summary executions of both Russian and Ukrainian prisoners.
