Two women in their 20s have been detained following the explosion in Kålltorp in Gothenburg on Saturday evening, the police write on their website.
A lantern was shattered and a windowpane to a gate was crushed in the blast, but there are no reports of personal injuries.
The incident is being investigated as a crime against the law on flammable and explosive goods, gross unlawful threats, and vandalism.
