Two men are being prosecuted for the murder in a parking garage in Malmö last summer. A man in his 30s was shot dead by multiple shots in his car with a child in the back seat. The child did not sustain any physical injuries during the shooting.
According to prosecutor Elena Severin, it was only coincidences that prevented the child from being hit by the shots. Three of the bullets passed close to the child, one of them hitting the lock, which prevented it from penetrating the car door next to which the child was sitting.
One of the men is being prosecuted for the murder of the man in his 30s and attempted murder of the child who was sitting in the back seat. The other man is being prosecuted, among other things, for aiding and abetting murder.
The prosecuted men, who are also in their 30s, deny the crimes.
