Turkey and France are ready to join the international force that according to Donald Trump's peace plan will monitor the security in Gaza. This is stated by the leaders of the two countries.

We will hopefully join the force that will monitor the implementation of the agreement on the ground, says Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at a press conference on Thursday afternoon.

A moment later comes the same message from the French President Emmanuel Macron.

We all have a role to play, says Macron, according to Le Fiagro.

The issue of a peacekeeping force in Gaza is one of the many question marks regarding the agreement between Israel and Hamas that has not yet been resolved.
