The audience at one of Vice President Kamala Harris' events was AI-generated, claims former President Donald Trump on social media. However, the crowds were witnessed by thousands of people on site, and their accounts are entirely in line with what Harris' campaign has announced, writes The New York Times.
Trump writes on his own social media platform Truth Social that no one was waiting for Harris outside a hangar in Detroit where she held a speech, and that the audience seen in pictures from there has been generated with the help of AI.
"She showed a huge 'crowd' of so-called supporters, but they didn't exist!", he writes, among other things.
"This is how Democrats win elections, through cheating, and they are even worse at the ballot boxes", he writes.
