The American track and field coach Rana Reider, accused of assault, is forced to leave the Olympic Games, according to several media outlets.
Reider has participated in the competitions as a coach for the Canadian star sprinter Andre De Grasse. He is also a coach for Italy's former gold medalist Marcell Jacobs.
However, his accreditation has been withdrawn, according to several sources for The Guardian. This follows The Times' revelation earlier in the week that three more female athletes are accusing Reider of sexual assault.
The successful coach was accused of sexual harassment as early as 2021 and has previously been banned from several major competitions. In May this year, a suspension was lifted and Reider was accredited to the games in Paris by Canada's Olympic Committee.
