Swedish forward Emil Heineman is moving from Montreal to New York Islanders. This as part of a major deal where star defender Noah Dobson goes in the opposite direction for an eight-year contract worth 723 million kronor.

In addition to Emil Heineman, 23, New York Islanders will also get Montreal's two first picks in this year's NHL draft, according to reports.

Thus, the hockey team from Long Island has three picks in tonight's first round. They have previously secured a first pick.

For Emil Heineman – who played the World Championship at home in May – it will be a new start after difficulties in taking a spot in Montreal.
