There was a really exciting and swinging final when the U21 European Championship in Slovakia was decided on Saturday.
England started the match at a furious pace and took an early lead after a goal by Liverpool star Harvey Elliott. Omari Hutchinson then increased the English lead.
The Germans did not give up, however, but caught up to 2–2, and the final went to extra time.
Once there, England drew the longest straw and was able to decide through Marseille outsider Jonathan Rowe.
This was England's second consecutive title in the U21 European Championship, a tournament that Sweden is known to have won in 2015.
