For the domestic football supporters, the worst period of the summer is over.
On Saturday, the men's Allsvenskan in football kicked off again after 27 days of hiatus, and first out was a meeting at 3 arena: Hammarby received Halmstad.
And someone who was obviously extra eager to play was the home team's speedy winger Sebastian Tounekti. The 22-year-old started by playing Nahir Besara forward for the lead goal, and then he thundered in 2–0 in the net after just over an hour of play.
I think we start incredibly badly, but then we get going. And when we play good football and get the game going, it's hard to stop us, he says to Max.
Tounekti, who was recruited to Hammarby from Norwegian Haugesund before the season, now stands at two goals and four assists this season.
The victory means for "Bajen's" part that they climb up to 30 points after 14 played matches. As many as the series-leading Mjällby has, but with one more match played.
Halmstad remains at 13 points in twelfth place, only two ahead of Öster on the qualifying spot.
