The toy Miniverse - Make it mini contains substances that can pose a health risk and must stop being sold and recalled from stores, writes the Chemicals Agency in a press release.
Miniverse - Make it mini contains a liquid that is to be hardened with the help of UV light.
"If you get the liquid on your skin, there is a risk of skin irritation. There is also a risk that those who are sensitive may develop skin allergy," says Frida Ramström, inspector at the Chemicals Agency.
According to Frida Ramström, it is safe to use the toy if the liquid has hardened, otherwise it should be thrown away or returned to the store.
The decision has been appealed by the Swedish distributor of Miniverse toys.
