Justin Timberlake was not intoxicated when he was arrested for drunk driving and the case against him should be dropped. This is what his lawyer says during a court hearing on Friday, writes Variety.
"The most important thing to know about this case is that Justin was not intoxicated and should not have been arrested. The police made a number of very significant mistakes in this case," the lawyer tells the newspaper.
Timberlake himself was not in court but will attend the next hearing on August 2.
Justin Timberlake was arrested in Sag Harbor, located in the luxurious resort town of The Hamptons in the state of New York, on June 18.
