Shaboozey's romantically intoxicated country song "A bar song (tipsy)" is the most played song on the streaming service in Sweden this summer. Sabrina Carpenter's hyped "Espresso" lands in sixth place on the list.

Second is "Sista gång" by rapper C Gambino, who was shot to death in Gothenburg in June. Benjamin Ingrosso succeeds in the feat of ranking both third and fourth on the top list with "Look who's laughing now" and the Nile Rodgers collaboration "Honey boy", respectively.

"Summer 2024 really differs from last year, which gave us a more uniform top list. This year, we instead see a mix of country, hip-hop, and pop, and we even get a visit from Norwegian epadunk", says Emma Vikström, music responsible at Spotify, in a press release.
