The authors Eva Ekselius, Simon Sorgenfrei, and Sverker Sörlin are awarded for their non-fiction by Samfundet De Nio.
Ekselius and Sorgenfrei receive Lotten von Kræmer's prize of 200,000 kronor each. Sverker Sörlin is awarded Inge Jonsson's prize of 200,000 kronor.
Furthermore, Jan Erik Bornlid, Ulla Ekblad Forsgren, Hans-Jacob Nilsson, and Linda Östergaard receive the literary academy's translator's prize of 100,000 kronor each.
Samfundet De Nio, whose purpose is to promote Swedish literature, was established in 1913 through a donation by Lotten von Kræmer.
