Just over four months after Hans Wahlgren's passing, the family has now been able to say their final goodbye to the actor. They gathered to spread his ashes in Torsbyfjärden outside Norra Lagnö in the Stockholm archipelago.
Expressen quotes Pernilla Wahlgren in the latest episode of the podcast "Wahlgren och Wistam":
"So we spread the ashes over the sea and said goodbye to dad. Then we lay down in the middle of Torsbyfjärden so that we could simultaneously see the big red house, where dad always stood when we sailed home and waved to us. Then you almost saw him standing there and waving."
The ash-spreading took place last week. The reason it has taken so long is that the different family members have had a hard time agreeing on a date when everyone could participate.
Hans Wahlgren passed away on May 10 after a period of illness. He was 86 years old.
